Still here at Rickmansworth........

...... but some progress to the project.

Having failed to do the engine service due to my stupidity and lack of memory, thinking I had oil when I didn't, I decided to use Mr Google to locate a stockist for the oil I normally use, there is nowhere locally within walking or cycling distance, so I walked to the nearest service station which is just up the road and asked if they could get me some, "yes I can have it here within 2 hours", "oooh lovely, how much?" (I'm not sure I actually said 'oooh lovely' but it makes it sound less abrupt!), the response after a phone call to her supplier was "£35.65"........not so good, I normally pay between £16 and £20, so no order was placed!

I decided I was feeling well enough to do the tiling so in between a few trips to town and other little chores this is the end result which was achieved this morning.

I'm not happy with the discoloration from where the WC unit was previously tucked behind the bath and which now shows up even more with the white tiling but I am not prepared to buy a whole new unit because of it, I did replace the seat and cover when I bought the boat.

Yesterday I contacted Phil on the fuel boat Hyperion who covers this section of the Grand Union to see where he was and he is passing through here tomorrow so I have asked him to stop for me and that means I probably won't move until Friday, unless he arrives early morning.
